• Explore limits and responsibilities of intervention.
• Explain the application of the Mental Capacity Act 2005 in relation to self-neglect.
• Consider when adult safeguarding may be an appropriate response.
• Recognise when child safeguarding may be required.
• Describe best practice and learn how to develop strategies to achieve this.
• Define how to best respond to cases.
