Learning, Training and Development Policy
Our philosophy centres around the importance of education, learning and development, and how it can empower you to deliver quality health and care. This is vital in ensuring services are delivered in a cost-effective manner and to our standards.
This policy outlines our approach to learning and development. It provides a framework by which we identify and prioritise learning and development needs, the range of methods utilised to meet those needs, and how we evaluate the return on investment related to activity.
The policy should be read and applied in conjunction with linked policies and accompanying guidance and tools to ensure that learning and development opportunities can be facilitated and accessed in a fair, consistent and cost-effective manner.
