Apprenticeships

An apprenticeship can be a great way to upskill, develop your career and earn a qualification. With just 20% of your time dedicated to off-the-job study,  you will be supported by our team of fantastic assessors to easily learn around your current role.

We are committed to life long learning…

What better way to experience hands-on learning than by an apprenticeship? Offering a chance to boost skills, extend your existing role and advance your career, considering an apprenticeship could be the next step for you.

Education and training are vital to providing the best health and social care now and, in the future, and our apprenticeships are a fantastic way to learn. We are delighted to be a registered training provider with the Skills Funding Agency, and thanks to our in-house assessors and subject matter experts, we can provide training packages that are mapped to the apprenticeship standards.

How does it work?

Each apprenticeship has different entry requirements based on the qualification itself. Once you have identified the apprenticeship you are interested in, then get in touch with us and we can advise of the next steps. During your apprenticeship you will be supported by an assessor who will guide you through the entire qualification and prepare you for the End Point Assessment. You will complete your apprenticeship around your current role and should allocate 20% off-the-job time for your studies. Check out our myth busting guide by clicking here, for more information on the off-the-job time. Once you have reached the end of your apprenticeship, you will complete the End Point Assessment. This is not an ‘exam’ in the traditional sense, but a chance for you to prove what you have learned throughout the duration of your apprenticeship. What makes up the End Point Assessment (EPA), will vary dependent on the apprenticeship, but don’t worry your assessor will ensure you are prepared and ready! Having completed your EPA you will receive your certificates and it’s time to celebrate!

"I feel I have really developed my self-awareness and emotional intelligence within this course which has made me feel more confident in my management role, this has also been reflected back from others observing my development.”

“I have taken on a bigger leadership role representing the service at partner agency meetings and deputising for my manager.”
