  • Define the term “Safeguarding Adults.”
  • Explore who an “adult at risk” may be.
  • Recognise potential indicators of abuse, harm and neglect.
  • Examine what action to take if you have concerns, including whom you should report your concerns to and from whom you should seek advice.
  • Examine what the Prevent Strategy means and how this relates to safeguarding.
  • Describe the relevant legislation which underpins safeguarding adults.
