Duty of Candour

This is an accredited CPD course.

Aims:

Explore what is ‘duty of candour,’ and the importance of this. Examine the process for duty of candour and the liability related to this.

Outcomes :

To have a greater understanding of duty of candour
To understand the process for duty of candour in the organisation
To understand liability and saying sorry to the patient or patient’s representative
To apply theory teaching to practical application of process in clinical practice

Delivery:

Virtual classroom, delivered in 2 parts on the same day. Both sessions must be attended to be fully compliant.
